The SmallRig Tripod Mounting Kit with 2 x Plates and 2 x 15mm Rod Clamps is designed with two mounting plates, enabling you to offset the weight of a front-heavy camera rig so the rig remains balanced on your tripod. Two 15mm LWS rod clamps can be used separately or together on the baseplate to support camera accessories.

The baseplates feature non-slip top surfaces, multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera mounts, and thumb-lever locks. A center slot provides 1.6" of front-to-back adjustment for optimally positioning your camera on the baseplate.

SmallRig Tripod Mounting Kit W/15mm Rail Block 1798 is combined by two SmallRig Tripod mounting plate w/15mm rail block. Used for long length, front-heavy, camera packages. Attach it to the tripod plate with a 3/8''-16 screw and 1/4''-20 screw, then you can mount your dovetail base plate on it. It clamps onto 15mm rails for accessories attachment, such as follow focus, matte box, etc. The 40mm groove makes it possible to balance a front heavy camera on your tripod properly.
